NEW INVESTMENT IN HALF A MILLION POUND UK DISTRIBUTION CENTRE
2020 looks set to be a year of expansion for Clarks Cycle Systems. A very trade focused company Clarks are always looking for ways to improve service and support to their customers.
Half a million pound investment into a brand new UK distribution centre based at their headquarters, will provide customers with better accessibility to a wider range of stocked product. Clarks intend to provide OEM manufacturers, and distributors with a service that turns around order to delivery within 24 hours. In addition, a new showroom is being built that will provide key customers with a great opportunity to see the entire range of Clarks product in a specialised environment.
NEW MARKETS, NEW INVESTMENT
In line with their recent strategy to accelerate OEM sales, Clarks have put together a new OEM sales team in Taiwan and China; they have been delivering product and offering support to over 30 factories across Asia on a weekly basis.
Expansion of the OEM product range has seen significant increases in sales, helping the company to expand it’s customer base in countries such as the Philippines and India. Distributors in these countries have been successfully supporting OEM sales as well as aftermarket products and components.
Success across Asia has been mirrored by expansion into markets in the America’s. This has lead to a new warehouse and distribution centre being put in place which will further support sales and improve service.
Always looking to respond to trends in the market place Clarks will be launching new ranges of product at this years Eurobike show (Booth B1-209). Key new products are the M4, a 4 piston hydraulic brake; a two piston flat mount mechanical brake, the CMD-22; the CMD-23, which complements an already comprehensive range of mechanical disc brakes and a new range of V-brake calipers and levers.
A specialist manufacturer of workshop, service and brake parts, Clarks will be adding several new ranges of coloured fixed and floating rotors to their catalogue as well as a set of work shop tools and service equipment.
As well as exhibiting at Eurobike 2019, booth B1-209, Clarks will be attending Taichung Bike Week, The Taipei International Cycle show and India Bike Expo. All customers, new and existing will receive a warm welcome and can experience products and support from a first class expanding company.
